this year the usual update will be filled with numbers and percentages, but we don't wish to alarm those of you who hate maths! Over 100,000 contacts per month from 56 countries all over the world, including the island of Tonga! 21 European countries delivered to. Over 1,500 customers throughout Europe. An increase of 13% in the annual volume of payments received. Monthly sales targets beaten several times. All this deserves a big THANK YOU. Thanks to all of you, especially those who believed in us even when, years ago, T.I.F.O. was just an idea. Thanks to our overseas customers, forced to pay for the goods ordered in advance… their faith in us has enabled the TIFO phenomenon to cross international boundaries and build organised stands to which lots of Italian clubs might aspire. Thanks to those whose photos, compliments and suggestions made you pour friends, and later customers; all this inspired us to offer you new alternatives, new ideas and new articles. Thanks to the creators of the Web site on which the data for the last season is based. It is our Web site which creates the base upon which to build our future programmes. The interactive aspect and immediate nature of this instrument mean that our paper catalogue will cease to exist in coming years, with just a simple update during the initial period. 3. PYROTECHNICALS ARE WIDELY SOLD DURING THE WHOLE SEASON. IT WILL BE VERY EXPENSIVE TO ORDER 30 TORCHES AT A TIME, SO GET ORGANIZED AND PLACE ONE BIG ORDER AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SEASON TO AVOID PAYING SHIPPING CHARGES ALL THE TIMES.

8. PLEASE ALWAYS CLEARLY INDICATE THE ARTICLE CODE NUMBER TO AVOID CONFUSION, (PLACING AN ORDER FOR A SCARF WITHOUT THE CODE NUMBER MEANS YOU WILL NEVER GET THE RIGHT ONE!!!).
9. FOR PERSONALIZED ARTICLES, PLEASE RESPECT THE PRODUCTION TIME. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO PLACE YOUR ORDER: THINGS MADE IN A HURRY DO NOT COME OUT PERFECTLY.

GENERAL SALES CONDITIONS

PRICES: The quoted prices do not include V.A.T. and shipping costs. Any possible change will be communicated when we receive your order. If a wrong price is shown on the customer's order form, the order will be considered valid at the current price given on the Internet.

MINIMUM ORDER: if a minimum quantity is not stated, a minimum purchase for € 51,65 is required (VAT not included).

TERMS OF PAYMENT: The confirmation slip, which you will receive on completion of your Internet request for a quote, will outline the various methods of payment. Please be aware that the different payments methods may have different addressees, as some methods require a physical person as recipient. Carefully follow the instructions for the payment method that you choose. Most importantly, with the exception of cash payments, please ensure that you promptly send the copy of the receipt of payment with the copy of the order, so that your order may be prepared for despatch.

CAUSES BEYOND CONTROL: well will not be responsible for accidental events or anything owing to a cause beyond our control such as delays, non-arrivals or deterioration of the goods, and have the right to partially or completely rescind the contact as well as suspending or deferring a dispatch. If the parcel is broken, open or tampered in anyway upon delivery, ask to check the content of the parcel at the presence of the courier's driver. After checking, should there be any problem, do not collect the parcel and ask the driver to fill in a written record of the damages. Only in this case we will be able to claim at least a partial compensation. Should the parcel be collected, no claim will be recognised. In case of bank payments the collection costs, bank commission and interests will be at customer's charge. In case of non-collection of the goods the forwarding expenses out and back will be at customer's charge. The issue of any order, its partial or total payment, imply the integral acceptation of all conditions of sale. Any controversy will be within the jurisdiction of the Court of Turin. The shipping costs for returned goods or delayed deliveries shall be paid by the customer.

VAT: a 21% VAT has to be added to prices for EEC Countries.

LANGUAGE: order forms filled in any language other than italian, english french and spanish are subjet to an axtra cost of € 10,33 for translation. Customers who do not speak Italian are asked to refrain from calling. If you require information or wish to place an order please contact us by e-mail or fax. HOLIDAYS. During holidays, the departments of our company will be closed by turns in order to guarantee a minimum level of service. This means that while articles for prompt delivery can be ordered almost at any time, some production departments may be closed in turns. This could occur in particular during Christmas holidays and in August. Please take into account that the courier in charge of delivering packages above 50 Kg abroad, is closed all August. For this reason, it would be appropriate to schedule orders well ahead.

AGAINST PAYMENT IN ADVANCE

The fees here under are valid only for not bulky single/double parcels weighing no more than 50/100 kilos.

The prices quoted for deliveries abroad are general only. The actual cost is calculated, each time, on the basis of the weight, the dimensions of the package, the destination and the number of packages being delivered in the neighbouring area the same day. The actual quote will be included in the total to pay sent with the order confirmation.

The total of sides A + B + C + D + E must not exceed 3 meters.

 Payment by cash against delivery is not allowed for this kind of shipment. We suggest you to ask us for the total amount to be paid when placing the order, and to fax us a copy of you receipt in order to speed up the delivery. In this way your goods will be delivered within only 5 working days at a very low price.

Due to repeated and serious problems that have arisen with carriers chosen by clients, the option of nominating a carrier is no longer available. Only T.I.F.O. partners with whom there is a shipping agreement may be chosen for deliveries.

TRANSPORT COSTS FOR HAZARDOUS GOODS OR PACKAGES OVER 100 KG. THAT CANNOT BE SHIPPED THROUGH GLS COURIER

There are some articles that conventional couriers cannot transport, such as items operated by compressed air or those indicated on the "Fire and Flame" page.

These articles are classified in the HAZARDOUS GOODS category.

Only an authorised and certified courier such as ours can handle these types of article without problems.

There are companies that save on shipment costs by using unauthorised couriers and without declaring the contents of the packages. We do not do so!

If the package should open or if it is chosen for a sample control, the goods would be impounded and you would risk losing both the goods and your money.

Our courier is authorised to transport dangerous goods by truck, which is why the list of countries does not include destinations that cannot be reached by road.

Clients living in countries not included in the list, however, may request shipment to addresses in neighbouring areas. For example, a client in Cyprus may request shipment to Greece, or a client in Malta may request shipment to Sicily.

Some countries included in the list are not members of the EU. We cannot ship articles included in the "Fire and Flames" page to these countries; inasmuch, the previous example is valid: a client in Norway may request shipment to Sweden, or a client in Switzerland may request shipment to Italy or Germany.

This table is also valid for shipments of non-hazardous goods when weight is over 100 Kg., which would require 3 separate shipments through the GLS courier.

To understand how the table works, first of all estimate the overall weight of the goods you wish to purchase. Then identify the price box by matching the COUNTRY line with the UP TO ... KG column.

If the weight is in the UP TO 50 KG. column or the UP TO 100 KG. column, the shipment cost is immediately identified. It is worth considering whether to add other goods to the order, since the shipment cost is the same for articles up to 50 or up to 100 Kg.

If, on the other hand, weight is over 100 Kg., the procedure is different. The excess weight should be calculated and this figures be multiplied by the corresponding cost. A fixed cost of 35 €uros should be added to the total.

Practical example: the cost of shipment for a packaging weighing 210 Kg. to Austria is:

(3x32)+35= €uro 131.

Direct tracking of these shipments means that as soon as the package is shipped, you will receive a copy of the transport document sent to the courier. Contact data will be provided at the bottom which you can use to enquire about shipment status.

Lastly, bear in mind that the weight/volume ratio applied is 1 cubic metre = 300 Kg. and that for non-EU countries flat-rate Italian customs expenses of 65 €uros should be borne in mind.
